Putin signed a decree on the strategy of information society development

Moscow. May 10. INTERFAX.RU — President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the strategy of information society development in Russia to 2017 — 2030”.

As reported on the official Internet portal of legal information, “to ensure the conditions for the formation in the Russian Federation knowledge society” the government was instructed to approve until October 1, 2017 list of indicators of the Strategy of information society development in Russia to 2017 — 2030 and its implementation plan.

Within six months the government of the Russian Federation shall be entrusted, in particular, to ensure that changes in the strategic planning documents of the Federal bodies of Executive power in accordance with the Strategy.

“To recognize the Strategy of information society development in the Russian Federation approved by the President of the Russian Federation on 7 February 2008,” — stated in the text of the decree.
