The United States put Syrian Kurds heavy weapons to fight ISIS

The administration of U.S. President Donald trump endorsed the delivery of more heavy arms to Syrian Kurds to the liberation of Raqqa from the militants of the “Islamic state”. On Tuesday, may 9, the Associated Press reports.

It is expected that this decision will allow to reduce time of capture of the stronghold of banned terrorist organizations. The US believes the Kurds are the most effective fighting partner in the fight against ISIS in the North and East of Syria.

A complete list of supplies is not disclosed, but presumably it will include 120-mm mortars, machine guns, and light armored vehicles.
