Merkel told Poroshenko about the results of his talks with Putin
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a telephone conversation on Monday, may 8, discussed a number of issues related to the settlement of the conflict in the Donbass. This was reported on the official website of the Ukrainian leader.

After a visit to Sochi, the Federal Chancellor promised to discuss with Poroshenko the situation in the Donbass.
The Minsk agreements — a document adopted in February 2015 leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia in the format “Norman Quartet.” It is aimed at de-escalation of the armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
