In St. Petersburg, arrested the defendant in the case, former Vice-Governor said

St. PETERSBURG, may 6 — RIA Novosti. Oktyabrsky district court of St. Petersburg on Saturday sanctioned the arrest of the alleged facilitator in the bribe of 20 million rubles to the former Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Marat Hovhannisyan, who previously was accused of fraud during the construction of “Zenit Arena”, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of city court of Petersburg Daria Lebedeva.

Earlier it was reported that in relation to the said accused of fraudulent embezzlement in 2014, more than 50 million rubles for the supply of screens for the “Zenit-Arena”, a criminal case about receiving a bribe from the General Director of firm “Stroyelektromontazh (SAM) No. 5” Basil Slivkina.

In the case also are likely the mediators — chief economist, “SAM No. 5” Nicholas Khripunov and Deputy Slivkina Cyril Slivkin (whether they are in kinship, has not yet been specified).

“Oktyabrsky district court ordered the remand in custody until July 3 against Cyril Slivkina suspected of committing a crime under part 4 of article 291.1 of the Criminal code of Russian Federation — “Mediation in bribery committed on an especially large scale”, — said Lebedev.

Also, according to her, the court on Saturday was arrested for the same period Nicholas Khripunova.

According to the Department of insurance in Petersburg, in 2015 Hovhannisyan received from Basil Slivkina through intermediaries Cyril Slivkina and Khripunova a bribe of 20 million rubles for ensuring the signing of the contract, as Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, supervising the execution of works on architectural lighting and external lighting of the stadium.
