The Guggenheim Museum has posted a 200 free books with the world’s masterpieces

The Museum of modern art Solomon R. Guggenheim digitize 200 books with art masterpieces and have laid out them in open access.

All volumes are presented on the Museum’s website in section “archive” formats PDFs and ePubs. The books contains information on such artists as Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Roy Lichtenstein and Kandinsky.

The initiative for the publication of the extensive library of the Museum was launched in 2012. Then were released 65 directories.

Currently, anyone can get access to thousands of digitized 375 masterpieces in high resolution.

The Guggenheim Museum is one of the leading collections of contemporary art in the world. Its founder is a philanthropist Solomon Robert Guggenheim.
