Macron won a pre-election debate in France

French viewers have awarded victory in the election debate the founder of the movement “Forward” to Emmanuel Macron. As reported by RIA Novosti with reference to data of the survey conducted by the research Institute Elabe for TV channel BFMTV, he defeated the leader of “National front” marine Le Pen.

Before the second round of elections Macron preference is given to 63% of the viewers, Le Pen 34%. Another 3 percent could not name the winner. Macron also won the poll on the website of the newspaper Le Figaro: 64 vs. 36 percent.

In the first round of the French presidential elections, which took place April 23, macron scored 24,01%. Le Pen scored 21.3 percent of the vote. The second round will be held on 7 may.

Le Pen has repeatedly stated that France has given too much power to Brussels, therefore, a priority she sees the restoration of the territorial, economic, monetary and legislative sovereignty of the country. Also, Le Pen has assured that if elected President will announce a referendum on Frexit. Macron claims that have always been Pro-European politician. However, he also admitted the country’s withdrawal from the EU, because half the country is “angry that the European idea”.
