More than 50 miners were blocked in the mine in Iran
Moscow. May 3. INTERFAX.RU More than 50 miners remain blocked in the mine in Iran after the explosion occurred. As informs “bi-Bi-si” with reference to local media, the incident occurred in the North in the province of Golestan.
It is reported that two people were killed and about 25 were wounded. According to rescuers, 16 miners were able to escape.

Meanwhile, according to Iranian officials, the number is blocked in the mine, the miners can be much more: the head of the Ministry of emergency situations of Iran said that about 40 people are in the same section of the mine, and as much again may be in another.

The rescue operation is hampered due to the threat of a gas explosion.
All the mine employs about 500 people.
