In Ukraine were kidnapped by unknown monument to Soviet actor Mark Bernes
KIEV, may 3 — RIA Novosti. Unknown stole a monument to Soviet actor and singer Mark Bernes in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, reported on Wednesday the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Radical party Andrei Lozovoi.
“Nothing is sacred. In Nizhyn in Chernihiv stole… monument to Mark Bernes in the Ducal Park. Who knows, Bernes was born in Nezhin, and in 2011, the centenary of his birth… was a monument to the great artist. And last night it was stolen, probably for the metal,” — wrote Deputy on his page on Facebook.
Willow requires law enforcement officers “to intensify all efforts to find the monument as soon as possible”.
He also posted two photos, one of them the monument was erected on the pedestal on the other — there is only a pedestal.
Mark Bernes is one of the most popular singers of the Soviet stage, people’s artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the Stalin prize of the first degree. He was born in Nizhyn in 1911 and died in Moscow in 1969.
The stolen monument recreates the frame from a film “Two fighters”. Bernes in the role of Arkady Zubina sitting with a guitar in his hands.
