Russia will have a commemorative coin in honor of the anniversary of Balmont
MOSCOW, may 2 — RIA Novosti. The Bank of Russia on Tuesday, may 2, issues commemorative silver coin in denomination of 2 rubles, dedicated to the 150th anniversary since the birth of the poet Konstantin Balmont, according to the website of the regulator.
The coin is part of the series “Outstanding personalities of Russia”, circulation — 3 thousand pieces. The coin is circular with a diameter of 33 mm, the lateral surface is corrugated. On the obverse and reverse sides of the coins along the circumference there is a raised rim. On the flip side of the coin is the relief image of Balmont on the left has: a facsimile signature and the dates in two lines “1867”, “1942”.
It is noted that the coin is lawful means of cash payment in territory of the Russian Federation and is obligatory to reception face value in all kinds of payments without any restrictions.
