In the state Duma introduced a bill on electronic summons to the military enlistment office

A group of senators together with the head of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Viktor Ozerov introduced to the state Duma a bill on the dispatch of the summons to the military enlistment office by e-mail. On Tuesday, may 2, reports TASS.

The bill requires that the military registration of the citizens will be obliged to provide a personal email address. “Planned agenda to the citizens in electronic form to the email address specified in the documents of the military account,” reads the explanatory note published in the Duma database.

It is noted that the agenda will be signed with the electronic signature of the military Commissioner or the authorized person.

According to the authors of the bill, in 2016, the military are unable to notify conscription more than 110 thousand people (36 percent of the total number of recruits). “In General, the implementation of this draft Federal law will reduce the number of citizens who evade military duty and increase the efficiency to bring them to justice”, — assured the senators.

By 2020, the number of contract servicemen in the Russian army will be increased to 499, 2 thousand people. According to representatives of the war Department, manned are planned to provide at 93 percent, reports the RNS. At the end of 2016 the number of contract servicemen has increased to 384 thousand people.
