On the territory of Russia held marches and demonstrations devoted to Day of spring and labor. The first action was held by the inhabitants of the Far East. In Vladivostok, the authorities, the demonstration came more than 20 thousand people, including the acting mayor Konstantin Mezhonov.
Events were also held in Khabarovsk, Yakutsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. According to estimates of the Federation of independent trade unions of Russia (FNPR), in the far East in rallies and marches took part 508 thousand. The most numerous, according to the FNPR, the shares in Yakutsk (100 thousand members) and Khabarovsk (41 thousand).
Procession of trade unions was held in Moscow. It began at 10:00 GMT. The participants marched through Bolshaya Ordynka street on Red square, Vasilevsky Descent. The head of the column were the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, the head of the FNPR Mikhail Shmakov and the Chairman of the Moscow trade Union Federation Mikhail Antonov employees. The mayor also sent residents a congratulatory telegram in which he expressed gratitude for “talent, achievements and love for our beautiful city of Moscow”.

Chapter FNPR Mikhail Shmakov said that the main demand of the protesters is to increase wages and improve working conditions, reports “RIA Novosti”. The participants played for the reduction of harmful factors in the production and execution of social guarantees of workers.
Meanwhile in Novosibirsk hosted the traditional “Monstration”, this year the event was coordinated by the authorities. The representative of the mayor’s office estimated the number of participants in 3 million, reports “Interfax”. At the head of the “Demonstrations” was deployed, the poster with snowflakes and the words: “Banned in Russia”.
“All banned in Russia — winter banned in Russia, “Monstration” is prohibited in Russia, and we have, on the contrary, everything is permitted. It is difficult to explain one version, is the space of interpretations”, — said Artem Loskutov (quoted by “Interfax”).
