Power 30 regions of the Russian Federation agreed on the opposition rally, which organisers intend to hold on April 29. About this TASS said a member of the Council under RF President on development of civil society and human rights (HRC) Igor Borisov.
“The HRC held a meeting (with police) on conduct of public events, and continue this process. According to our data, in 30 regions the shares on April 29 agreed upon,” he said.
The human rights activist said that in some regions, the organizers were refused in the coordination of the claimed routes, but these failures, in his opinion, “consistent with law and sound logic.” “This day will be an environmental cleanup under the auspices of the Ministry of natural resources, they were planned in advance and timed to the Year of ecology and the preparations for the may holidays”, – he explained, adding that where in connection with environmental actions was the denial of promotions, organizers of the “proposed alternative routes”.
Borisov noted that the members of the Council discussed the situation with the action in Moscow. “We recognized quite a reasonable and logical proposal of the Moscow authorities to organize the rally on Sakharov Avenue, if you agree the organizers. The place that was offered by the organizers, is not suitable in connection with the carrying out of excavation work, and there is a danger that people will fall into the pit, break a leg,” – said the representative of the HRC, noting that the authorities of Moscow area is located in the centre of the capital, “within the Garden ring”.
“The situation (with the approval of the shares) are fully under control, and we do not see any violation of any legal requirements, nor generally recognized principles of popular participation in public events,” concluded the member of the presidential Council on human rights.
