The defense Ministry of the Russian Federation opens section of the official website about the activities of the Expedition center

The new section presents a strategy for the development of a Forwarding centre for the period up to 2022.

MOSCOW, April 30. /TASS/. The Russian defense Ministry has announced the opening of a new section of its official website on the activities of the Expeditionary center.

“The new section will acquaint the user with the basic directions and results of work of the Russian defense Ministry on the implementation of expeditionary projects. For the most complete informing visitors in available interactive map of Russia, with which they will be able to get an idea of the geography, composition and purposes of more than 20 expeditions planned by the military in 2017”, — stated in the message of the Ministry of defense.

The most ambitious of them will be integrated expedition to search for and identify the linear ships of the Petrine era (presumably battleships “Portsmouth” and “London”) in the waters of the Gulf, underwater search expedition “Road of life” in the waters of lake Ladoga, the complex expedition to the alleged place of death of the polar expedition under the leadership of V. A. Rusanov in 1913 (the Kara sea), the reconnaissance expedition for the detection of objects of military-technical history and fortifications in the Smolensk and Kaluga regions, the complex expedition of evacuation (recovery) of objects of military – technical history, in the Voronezh region.

The section presents the strategy for the development of a Forwarding centre for the period up to 2022, the number of major projects which will include integrated long-term expedition to study and passportization of historical sites of military fortification of the XIX—XX centuries. cow in Russia (2017-2022.), children and youth nationwide Patriotic expedition “My homeland — Russia” and others.

Regional forwarding centers have been formed in Saint-Petersburg, Severomorsk, Samara, Rostov-on-don, Sevastopol, Ekaterinburg, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.

It is planned that the section will host text information and a detailed media reports, photos and video information about the conduct and results of each of the expeditions.

In April 2017 Expeditionary center completed a unique complex expedition to the North pole. Published a new section in the report about her conduct, talks about the results of studies and experiments conducted in extreme Arctic conditions.
