Peskov responded to the question about the possible involvement of Putin in the campaign “Immortal regiment”

Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov did not answer the question of whether the head of state Vladimir Putin this year to take part in the action “Immortal regiment”, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, April 27.

“I can’t tell yet,” said Sands, answering a corresponding question of journalists.

Public action “Immortal regiment” was held on the Victory Day in Russia and some other countries. The event is a procession in which people carry pictures of their relatives who participated in the great Patriotic war.

According to the national center for the study of public opinion (VTSIOM), in 2016 it was attended by representatives of every third Russian family. In addition, sociologists have found that in the current year to March plans to join us every second Russian.

The first such event was held in Tomsk in 2007. Putin took part in the Immortal regiment March in Moscow in 2015 and 2016.
