The President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a ceremony in the Kremlin congratulated the winners received the title of Hero of labor, and presented them with gold medals. On Friday, April 28, the correspondent “reports Tapes.ru”.
Speaking at the ceremony, Putin stressed that Russia has always been rich in talented, selfless and creative people, whose labor was for the common good, for the success and prosperity of the country.
Head of the civil code of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) “Khangalassky forestry” Barbara Ustinov, receiving from the hands of the President, state awards and wished the head of state “health is as strong as Yakut diamond”.
In accordance with the decree of the head of state’s highest award for labor achievements this year also awarded the fitter “Sevmash” Alexey Ivanov, the head physician of hospital of Krasnodar Vladimir flutter, Forester from Yakutia Varvara Ustinov, as well as artistic Director of the Moscow theater “Contemporary” Galina Volchek and the former head of Tatarstan state Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev.
They are all marked “for special merits before the state and the people.”
The title of Hero of labour was established in March 2013. It is awarded for contribution to education and socio-economic, cultural, industrial and agricultural development of the country. The title is the highest degree of distinction along with the title of Hero of Russia. The award ceremony takes place annually on the eve of international workers ‘ Day on 1 May.
To date, the title of labor Hero awarded to 25 people.
