Germany approved a draft law on partial ban of wearing the burqa

The German Parliament has approved a bill banning the wearing of completely covering the body and face of Islamic dress — the burka or niqab.

These kinds of clothes Muslim women leave only a narrow slit for the eyes. The ban will affect civil servants, judges and military.

“Integration, in particular, means that we must clearly define and disseminate our values. The bill, which we have endorsed, has made an important contribution,” explained the Minister of internal Affairs of Germany Thomas de Mezieres.

For the first time for a partial ban on the wearing of the burqa or niqab spoke at the end of last year German Chancellor Angela Merkel, reminds RIA Novosti.
