Two shooting at an ascent of Elbrus climbers were killed

Two climbers, shooting at an ascention to Elbrus, has died. TASS April 27, said the head of the Elbrus highland search and rescue team (MPSO) of EMERCOM of Russia Abdullah Guliyev.

The dead were experienced athletes. “It was a Russian tour group of four people, two of whom, even after the incident continued to rise. Dead — experienced guides, often accompanied climbers on Elbrus. Both are residents of the city of Nalchik. The cause of the fall could be the outdoor ice on the hillside,” — said Guliyev.

Earlier Thursday it was reported that while climbing mount Elbrus
at 6:00 GMT at an altitude of about 4.9 thousand meters above sea level above the Pastukhov Rocks broke two climbers. Other details at the time were not.
