Died in Moscow scholar, literary critic Fyodor Kapitsa, the son of Sergey Kapitsa and the grandson of Peter Kapitza, the famous physicists.

Fyodor Kapitsa was born 17 August 1950 in Moscow. In 1975 he graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow state pedagogical University and postgraduate studies at the Institute of world literature (imli), the Russian Academy of Sciences. In the years 1975-1977 he worked in the Department of rare books and acquisition of the Russian state library (the State library. V. I. Lenin), taught a course in folklore at the faculty of Philology of Moscow state pedagogical University. Fyodor Kapitsa was engaged in research of Slavic mythology and folklore.
