The Russian space forces have made more than 23 thousand sorties in Syria

MOSCOW, April 26. /TASS/. Air and space forces (VKS) Russia since the beginning of operations in Syria has made more than 23 thousand sorties and about 77 thousand strikes on terrorists. This was announced by the head of the Main operations Directorate of the General staff of the Armed forces (AF) of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Sergey rudskoy at the VI Moscow conference on international security.

“Since the beginning of military operations by military aircraft of the Russian Federation videoconferencing were more than 23 thousand flights and about 77 thousand blows,” said rudskoy.

He noted that comparative analysis of results of actions of the Russian aviation and aviation of the international coalition in Syria shows that having significantly less airplanes, VKS RF performed three times more combat sorties and struck four times more air strikes.

Rudskoy also reported that videoconferencing is currently used in operations in the Arab Republic about 80 drones. According to him, this allows military personnel to constantly monitor the situation on the ground in real time to data relating to the objects of the insurgents and defeating them.
