In the suburban Orekhovo-Zuevo, the Investigative Committee arrested the psychiatrist, who for a bribe and without legal justification was hospitalized a woman. About it “lente.ru” has informed the official representative of regional Department of the TFR Elena Fokina.
As it turned out, January 26 doctor, being on daily duty in a psychiatric hospital №8 agreed with the 23-year-old local resident on admission her 52-year-old mother. However, he “had neither the legal grounds nor the consent of the patient”. “For this service the doctor has demanded 20 thousand roubles, which were transferred to the Bank card”, — said Fokin.
On 24 April, the doctor and the daughter of the patient were detained. Two criminal cases against a health care provider under article “receiving a bribe”, and in relation to daughter — under article “bribe for illegal actions”. The consequence intends to petition for the arrest of the physician, the woman is released under recognizance not to leave.
Fokina said that the 33-year-old psychiatrist last year was convicted of a similar crime and sentenced to a fine of 500 thousand rubles. Now the consequence checks all patients of the doctor, twice convicted of bribery.
In July 2016 in Saratov 73-year-old doctor, who took bribes chickens for sick leave, was sentenced to 50 thousand rubles fine.
