Elton John has canceled a series of concerts because of illness
British musician, sir Elton John was forced to cancel a series of concerts in the United States because of illness. When Elton John came back from Chile to the UK, he was diagnosed with atypical bacterial infection, where he spent two days in intensive care.
April 22, Elton John released from the hospital, now he is treated at home.
All performances until may 6, which was to take place particularly in Las Vegas and California, is cancelled.
In a statement Elton John said: “I am happy that I have such wonderful and loyal fans and I, I apologize to them for upsetting them. I am grateful to the medical team because they are so well looked after for me.”
According to the agent of the singer Murray Chalmers, Elton John tour will resume June 3.
March 25, sir Elton John was 70 years old.
Legendary singer, musician and composer during his career he received several Grammy awards and one “Oscar”. Billboard magazine named him one of the most successful artists of all time.
