The foreign Ministry has nominated a new Ambassador to the UN

Vassily Nebenzia will take the post of permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations (UN). About the upcoming appointment of the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs, according to “Izvestia”, citing a source in the Russian foreign Ministry.

“The issue with the Ambassador is already solved. They will be Vasily sebenza. All documents sent to the UN,” – said the source publication.

The head of the State Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky confirmed this information, calling the official “best man for the job”. Candidate nebesa now must be approved by the lower and upper house of Parliament. Former Deputy Secretary General of the UN Sergei Ordzhonikidze called nebesa person “experienced, professional and, most importantly, with a sense of humor.”
