“Traditionally in Russia want to build good relations with those who are also configured in a positive way and who believes that the solution to the existing differences is possible only through dialogue taking into account mutual interests,” he added, answering a question of journalists.
According to Peskov, Russia respects the will of the French people on election of the President of the Republic.
“The French need to decide who will be their President,” — said the press Secretary of the head of state.
“This is a very important election on the European continent, you know that Russia and France have a long relationship, historical relationship, rich in its traditions. We encourage further development of these relations”, — said Peskov.
