Putin discussed with members of the security Council the events in Paris, cybercrime and Syria

President Vladimir Putin held operational meeting with permanent members of Russian security Council, said press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speakers of both chambers of Parliament Valentina Matvienko, Vyacheslav Volodin, the head of the Kremlin administration Anton Vaino, interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu, the FSB Alexander Bortnikov and SVR Sergey Naryshkin and Secretary of the Council Nikolai Patrushev.

“I held a detailed conversation on topical issues of socio-economic development of Russia, the meeting condemned the attack yesterday on the police in Paris, expressed his condolences to the French in this regard. It was noted there is no alternative to international cooperation in combating terrorism,” — said Peskov.

“In addition, the meeting featured the topic of cybercrime was also addressed international and regional issues, including Syria,” he added.
