The national PTA has offered to resign in connection with office discrepancy of the Deputy of the Perm legislative Assembly Sergey Kleptsina, deprived single mothers the right to receive benefits. The letter with the request the Chairman of the organization Irina Volynets sent to the head of regional Parliament Valery Dry, reports RT.

Volynets said that the Committee received many complaints from residents of the Perm region, are dissatisfied with the activities Kleptsina. In addition, according to her, the statements of a parliamentarian “demonstrates his personal contempt for single mothers and low-income single-parent families”.

April 17 in an interview with NTV of Leptin commented on the amendments previously proposed to the regional law “On protection of family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood,” saying that single mothers should not receive money from the state because “the accidental birth of such children occurs after discos, some get-togethers, team bonding night”.

On 19 April the acting as the Governor Maxim Reshetnikov during the meeting, immediately ordered to resolve ambiguous provisions of the law and send it back for revision.

According to the amendments, the new regional benefits — social security card on 60 thousand roubles can count only mothers aged 19 to 24 years married or if the documents indicated their child’s father. The funds can only be spent in the store. The bill entered into force on 1 January 2017. The program was designed to increase the birth rate in the region.

According to the channel, in Perm since the beginning of 2017 was born about four thousand children, and every tenth has a father.
