The head of the FSB: the customer of a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg “virtually installed”

MOSCOW, April 20. /TASS/. The FSB has practically established the identity of the customer of the terrorist attack that took place in St. Petersburg on April 3. This was announced by the head of service Alexander Bortnikov.

Bortnikov added that the investigation into the attack continues. “The fact that the official charged with (in charge), it just demonstrates the preparation of a terrorist act, which occurred in the St. Petersburg metro” — added Bortnikov.

The explosion occurred in the subway on the afternoon of 3 April, in the train on the stretch between the stations “Institute of Technology” and “Sennaya Ploschad”. The attack killed 14 passengers and the terrorist who detonated the explosive device injured in the explosion recognized by 102 people. Later, another explosive device was defused in the metro station “Ploschad Vosstaniya”. The investigative Committee has named the staged explosion of a man — he was a native of Kyrgyzstan Akbarjon Jalilov.

On 6 April, the UK reported the arrest of eight suspects in a criminal case — Seyfulla Khakimova, Ibragimjon ermatova, Dilmurod Muidinova, Bahram Ergashev, Azamjon Makhmudov, Mahmadyusuf Mirzaalimova, Logisty Karimova and sodica Ortikova. Six of them were arrested in St. Petersburg, two in Moscow. Criminal case is being investigated under part 3 of article 205 (Terrorist act) and part 2 of article 222 of the criminal code (“Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of explosives or explosive devices”).

He was later arrested another suspect Abror Azimov, who, according to the FSB, carried out training of the suicide bomber. Basmanny court of Moscow on 20 April will consider the arrest in the case of the attack his brother, Akram Asimov, who was detained Wednesday in Moscow.
