The metro station in the city center was closed for entrance because of a suspicious object

The St. Petersburg metro station “Admiralty” in the city centre was closed for entrance. On Tuesday, April 18, reports TASS with reference to information of the metro.

“21:22 GMT station “Admiralty” is closed only at the entrance, in the lobby of detected orphan box”, — stated in the message.

At 21.40 GMT, after testing, the entrance to the station was reopened.

On 3 April a suicide bomber Akbarjon Jalilov blew up the train on the stretch between the stations “Sennaya Ploschad” and “Technological Institute” Saint-Petersburg metro. The victims were 14 people. On 18 April, the native of Kirghizia Abror Azimov, the suspect in the bombing, was arrested before 3 June.
