Independent deputies of the state Duma Rifat Shaikhutdinov and Alexey Zhuravlev will be able to speak from the rostrum of the lower house of Parliament once in two months, said the first Vice-speaker of the Duma Ivan Melnikov. His words leads RIA Novosti on Tuesday, April 18.
“They asked to give them the same time to speak this morning on issues that were socio-economic in nature. We decided that every two months they will have five minutes to speak in the morning, before the meeting of the state Duma” — has explained millers.
He recalled that in the state Duma in the beginning of the meeting are the representatives of factions, each of them is given 10 minutes.
March 21, Melnikov said that the working group on improving legislative activities of the state Duma proposes MPs to discuss their initiatives to be introduced in the parliamentary factions.
In the state Duma of the seventh convocation formed the four factions. The faction “United Russia” includes the 343 deputies, the Communist party — 42, liberal Democrats — 39, “Fair Russia” — 23. Out of the factions left Zhuravlev and Shaikhutdinov.
