Moscow has denied provocative messages in Croatian media about the alleged supply of 90-ies to bypass the UN embargo of arms to Croatia, including the s-300, said Deputy Director of the Department of information and press of the MFA of Russia Artem Kozhin.

“Russia has consistently adhered to its international obligations, including in relation to the embargo on arms supplies to the conflicting parties during the Yugoslav crisis 1991-1995”, — said the diplomat.

“We consider these provocative publications grossly distort facts aimed at the denigration of the Russian Federation policy in the Balkans. Especially unacceptable in the context of all of these fictions the reference contacts of the Ambassador of Russia in Zagreb. The responsibility lies on the authors of such schemes”, he added.
