New models of hypersonic weapons will go to the troops by the year 2025
It is noted that the solution of these tasks will not be possible without the involvement of the scientific community.
MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. The defense Ministry said on Sunday that by 2025, the troops will put new models of hypersonic weapons. The corresponding statement posted on the Agency’s website.
“The state armaments program 2018 — 2025 will include the development of perspective types of armament and military equipment (weapons, military and special equipment — approx. TASS), — the document says. New armament programme seeks to ensure the completion and delivery to the troops is fundamentally new models of hypersonic weapons, intelligent robotic systems, weapons based on new physical principles, as well as a number of traditional types of AMSE next generation.”
It is noted that the solution of these tasks will not be possible without the involvement of the scientific community.
On Saturday it became known that the new Russian hypersonic anti-ship missile “Zircon” has reached to the test speed corresponding to eight speed of sound.
