Russian police may prohibit travel abroad

Employees of bodies of internal Affairs (MIA) may prohibit travel abroad. About this newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to the bill of the former Deputy from LDPR Dmitry Nosov.

The former MP has proposed to amend the laws “On procedure of exit from Russia and entry to Russia” and “On service in bodies of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation”, expanding the list of “restricted to travel abroad” posts.

According to the initiative of the country, foreign travel restrictions will affect not only those who have access to the “special importance or top secret information classified as state secrets”.

Meanwhile, the first Deputy Chairman of state Duma Committee on security and combating corruption Dmitry Savelyev (LDPR) has declared “news” that the faction is against such restrictions and Nosov says the initiative is “untimely”.

“Noses is now the Deputy of the state Duma, and in the last convocation he made his initiative without coordinating it with the faction”, — he stressed.
