Kim Jong-UN reviews a military parade on the Central square of Pyongyang
PYONGYANG, April 15. /Offset. TASS Yuri Sidorov/. The parade of the Korean people’s army began on the Central square named after Kim Il sung in North Korea’s capital. The authorities staged a show of strength on the occasion of the national holiday — the 105th anniversary of the birth of Kim Il-sung — the founder and first President of the people’s Korea, Generalissimo and the author of the Juche idea.
As the Supreme commander, the parade, North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, dressed in a black European suit with a tie, the correspondent of TASS from the event. The people of the DPRK celebrate the “Day of the sun” at a time when the Korean Peninsula tense situation. The General staff of the kPa promised to take drastic measures in response to the provocative actions of the US and its allies. “War hysteria of the administration of the President of the USA (Donald) trump has reached a dangerous phase, and the DPRK can not but react to this fact”, — said in a statement published on the eve of the North Korean generals. In this regard, the General staff warned that “the people and army of the DPRK will take decisive countermeasures in response to hostile political, economic and military actions of the United States”.
In Pyongyang, according to the statement, think that “Washington should make the right decision to resolve the” tense situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The United States recently stated several times that they consider all possible actions against the DPRK. On April 9 it became known that the Pacific command of the us forces sent toward the Korean Peninsula strike group of the Navy headed by the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson. The us administration’s decision has caused serious concern of DPRK leadership, which does not exclude the possibility of a missile strike from the United States. In these circumstances, Pyongyang declare their intention to strengthen its nuclear potential on the background of aggressive policy of the United States.
The DPRK has refrained from conducting tests of ballistic missiles in anticipation of the holiday.
