Czech President miloš Zeman has dismissed the Ambassador of the Republic of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Charles Boruvka for statements in social networks, the diplomat’s wife Alena in the leadership of the Ministry of foreign Affairs and a number of well-known politicians. On Thursday, April 13, RIA Novosti reported.

“At the suggestion of the government, President Zeman signed the documents on dismissal of Boruvka from the post of Ambassador to Switzerland”, — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.

Karel Boruvka 31 March was received from the foreign Ministry of their country requirement to leave the post until the end of April. He added that he believes the actions of its leadership is unprecedented. “We are talking about the personal rights of my wife, she’s a private citizen and not an employee of the foreign Ministry”, — said the diplomat.

The press Secretary of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Michaela Lagronova previously explained that upon return to the Czech Republic Boruvka offered a job in accordance with his qualifications and experience.
