Melania trump has won a lawsuit against the newspaper Daily Mail
Moscow. April 12. INTERFAX.RU the British Daily Mail newspaper publicly apologized to the wife of the President of the United States Melania trump and announced that it would pay her compensation for the damage suffered.
“We understand that these (published in the newspaper — if) statements about Mrs. trump is wrong… We apologize to Ms. trump’s an inconvenience,” — said in a statement published on the newspaper’s website on Wednesday. The amount that the publication is willing to pay trump, in court has not sounded.
In turn, the AP notes that the US first lady accepted the apology the Daily Mail. Earlier it was reported that trump filed a libel suit against British newspaper Daily Mail, to disseminate information concerning its alleged cooperation with the agencies of escort services.
The lawsuit on protection of honor and dignity was filed in the court in new York, and the defense was evaluated tramp incurred damage of $150 million.
In the August 2016 issue of the Slovenian magazine “Suzy” was published an article about the past of the wife of the President of the United States Donald trump, which was later extended by the British newspaper Daily Mail.
