The band Korn has hired 12-year-old son of the bass player of Metallica

The son of bassist American heavy metal band Metallica, 12-year-old Thai Trujillo, will go on tour with the rock band Korn. On Monday, April 10, reports The Guardian.

Tai, son of Robert Trujillo will replace Korn bassist Reginald Arvizu (known as Done) during a number of concerts in Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

“We are very sorry that Done will not be able to join us at these performances, but we would be very happy to play with such a young musician, tai,” said the members of Korn.

Korn California-based group, which is considered one of the main bands of the genre nu metal. In the discography of the band’s 12 Studio albums, the latest of which, The Serenity of Suffering, was released in 2016.

Metallica was formed in 1981 and is part of the “big four of thrash metal”. The last record of the team, was released in November 2016.
