The actions of the US that caused a missile attack on Syrian air base, should not be left without strict assessment by the international community, said in a draft statement of the Federation Council, which the senators are going to take on Wednesday.
The head of the international Committee of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said to journalists that the document, the parliamentarians “Express their deepest outrage and disappointment with the U.S. attack on objects Syrian government troops”.
Kosachev stressed that these actions of the American side in the Scenarios regarded “as an act of aggression against a sovereign state”. “These actions of the United States should not remain without a rigorous assessment of the international community”, — assured the senators.
In the Federation Council stress that this attack was a “blow to the peace process, the talks in Geneva and Astana”.

Stocks of chemical weapons had previously been successfully evacuated from Syria, in January 2016, the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons announced the total elimination of the chemical Arsenal of the country.
