A group of hackers accused of defrauding banks of more than 1 billion rubles

Moscow. April 11. INTERFAX.RU — the Meshchansky court of Moscow will consider the case of members of criminal community, kidnapped with the help of computer technologies more than a billion rubles from commercial banks, said the official representative of the Prosecutor General Aleksandr Kurennoy.

According to him, in July — November 2014 Yuriy Lysenko organized criminal community for hymenia funds a number of commercial banks, which involved more than 17 partners.

“Cash financial institutions were abducted by the input and modification of computer information, using the Internet, operations of transfer and withdrawal of funds by Bank card to their undoing and restoring the balance in the accounts. As a result of these actions by members of the criminal group abducted in financial institutions in excess of 1 billion rubles,” — said the Colonel.

He added that the individuals from March to July 2015, by installing ATMs in various special devices, allowing to control the process of issuing banknotes, stole more than 5.7 million roubles.

One of the participants — Anton Test — already convicted.

Criminal case is directed to the Meshchansky court of Moscow for consideration on the merits. The investigation against other accomplices of the crimes, declared in the international search continues, said Kurennoy.
