Alexei Pushkov

The President of the United States Donald trump should “think twice” before the introduction of new anti-Russian restrictive measures. The member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov wrote in his Twitter.

“Trump should think twice before introducing new sanctions against Russia. He will deserve the applause of the [Senator John] McCain, but will blow the last chance for dialogue,” — said in the recording.

In another publication Pushkov said that the findings of the United States about the involvement of the Syrian government to the chemical attack in Idlib are a bluff.

On 9 April, the U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley said that trump discusses with the members of his administration, the introduction of new sanctions against Russia and Iran for supporting Syria.

On the same day Senator John McCain said that the administration trump partial fault lies in the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian province.

On the night of 7 April, the United States by order of the trump attacked the airfield shirt used by government aircraft. In all there were 59 cruise missiles. The shelling was carried out after reports of the Syrian opposition that is loyal to the Assad forces allegedly use chemical weapons in Idlib province. Victims of the attack were dozens of people. Damascus his involvement in the incident denies.
