In Omsk ten-year-old girl with renal failure, lapsed into a coma after the injection of lidocaine, has died in hospital. On this Monday, April 10, according to the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.
The death occurred on the morning of 8 April. “According to investigators, after the injection of lidocaine during the treatment at the Nephrology unit of children’s city clinical hospital № 3 of Omsk ten-year-old girl fell into a coma due to the outbreak of severe allergic reactions, the possibility of which has not been verified by doctors”, — explained in Department.
According to the results of the inspection, the investigators opened a criminal case under article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence owing to inadequate execution of professional duties”). Guilty threatens till three years of imprisonment. Currently being investigated all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier it became known that on March 30 in the children’s city clinical hospital № 3 in a coma who underwent treatment in the Department of Nephrology schoolgirl. Initially it was said that her nine years. It was also reported that, according to preliminary data, the doctor gave the girl an injection of lidocaine without checking for allergic reactions.
