Scientists have explained the inability to fall asleep early

MOSCOW, 09 APR — RIA Novosti. American and Turkish geneticists have found one of the possible reasons that some people prefer to sleep late and do not like waking early, the newspaper writes New Scientist.

Researchers believe that the shift of the sleep period caused by mutations in the CRY1 gene associated with the regulation of the circadian rhythms of the person. As scientists have calculated, this kind of unit of heredity responsible for sleep problems in about 1.3 percent of the population of modern Europeans.

People with mutations in CRY1 should adhere to the mode of the day, taking into account the shift in circadian rhythms, experts advise.
