The Presidium of the General Council of the party “United Russia” announced that the party platforms in the near future there will be changes – each of them will have its own head, writes TASS.
Now the party has three ideological platforms: liberal, social and Patriotic, they will be headed by Senator Andrey Klishas and Valery Ryazansky, and also the Deputy of the state Duma Dmitry Sablin. In addition, the “United Russia” have an entrepreneurial platform which will be three co-chairs: businessman Evgeny Demin, a representative of the nonprofit sector Marina bludyan and the MP Tatiana Alekseeva.
The work platforms have a rule – they have to arrange meetings not less than once in two months. At these meetings the participants discuss problems, make resolutions, which are then sent to the party Presidium. And thanks to a chance to make the most important problems of society for discussion in the state Duma or the government.
It is noted that the platform is one of the tools through which citizens themselves can influence the agenda of the parliamentary majority.
