MOSCOW, 4 APR — RIA Novosti. A citizen of Belarus were injured in the explosion in the subway in St. Petersburg, it operated, non-life-threatening, said the foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

On Monday around 14.30 GMT on the stretch between the stations “Sennaya Ploschad” and “Tekhnologichesky Institut-2” St. Petersburg underground there was an explosion. Another explosion at the station “Ploshchad Rebellion”, was prevented by timely detection of an improvised explosive device.

The RF IC opened a criminal case under article “terrorist act”, the investigation will test other versions of the incident. According to the NAC, the explosion 11 people were killed and 45 injured are in hospitals. Later GUMCHS has published a list hospitalized: according to the Ministry, in hospitals is 51 people.
