Kadyrov complained about the lack of money for restoration of the Chechen Republic

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov announced the failure of the plans to rebuild the Republic after the funds for the relevant Federal target program (FTP) was reduced from 130 to 75 billion rubles. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“We had factories, literally everything, but nothing restored. People need to understand that even the program, which is carried out in all regions of the Russian Federation in the Chechen Republic, the only post-war region, the Federal centre has not fulfilled”, — he told in interview to TV channel “Russia 24”, indicates the Agency.

Kadyrov stressed that Alexei Kudrin as Finance Minister, and former presidential envoy Dmitry Kozak has promised to open funding programme for the period 2002-2007 only, subject to sequestration. “Depending on the situation, I agreed, and that’s all. And got what?” — shared the head of the Republic. He said that a number of social facilities still not restored.

Although Kadyrov was talking about budget cuts of up to 75 billion rubles, on the page of the Federal program “Restoration of economy and social sphere of the Chechen Republic” in 2002-2007 stated an amount of $ 59 billion.

In 2008 was approved by the new program until 2012 with a budget of almost 100 billion rubles.

In 2013, the Russian government has prepared a draft Federal target program “South of Russia” for 2014-2020, aimed at further socio-economic development of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal district in the framework of the state program for the period up to 2025.

In November last year, President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to discuss the issue of increasing funding of the North Caucasus.
