ARD reported on the refusal of the IOC and WADA study of a positive doping sample of Jamaicans

The international Olympic Committee (IOC) and World anti-doping Agency (WADA) decided not to investigate the positive doping samples of Jamaican sprinters with Olympic games of 2008 in Beijing. About it reports “R-Sport” with reference to the German TV station ARD.

The President of the German athletics Union (DLV) Clemens Prokop called it a serious blow to the credibility of both organizations. About the reasons for the refusal of the investigation are not reported.

New film ARD on doping was shown on April 2. The film is dedicated to the positive samples Jamaican sprinters from the Games in Beijing in the blood which was found a prohibited substance clenbuterol.

On 25 January it was reported that Usain Bolt regained the gold medal with the Olympic games in 2008, won in the relay 4 by 100 meters. He lost his award because of the positive doping test partner of the national team of Jamaica’s Nesta Carter. The medals took from the entire team of Jamaica.
