In China, a hundred-meter cargo ship crashed into a bridge

BEIJING, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti, Ivan Bulatov. A cargo ship with a length of 98.8 per meter and a width of 15.6 m crashed into a bridge in Guangdong province in southern China, reports Xinhua news Agency citing local authorities.

The incident occurred in the city district of Zhuhai. The ship, which was carrying about one thousand tonnes of cargo, crashed into a bridge, Lansi. The result of the incident, the bridge column has moved to 1.6 meters.

Information on victims didn’t arrive. Around the scene of the incident, there were restrictions for water transport. The investigation is ongoing.
