April 1, in Russia the spring appeal. In accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation in the Armed forces will be sent to 142 thousand people.
But there are citizens who cannot serve in the army, for example religious beliefs. For them, there is an alternative civil service (AGS). This work is intended to meet the interests not only of the state but also society as a whole. And he may substitute service in the Armed forces of the Russian Federation at the call. The AGS also eligible recruits belonging to indigenous peoples.
The citizens who decided to replace military service, almost no different from ordinary workers. They also accrued wages, they are entitled to benefit from provisions in the Labour code of the Russian Federation annual leave.
The current list of works, professions, positions which can be occupied by citizens, passing alternative service, was adopted by order of the Ministry of labor of Russia from February 15, 2016. In this list:
- 59 working professions (driver, porter, janitor, painter, waiter, cook, kitchen worker, attendant, etc.);
- 62 office workers (ballet dancer, teacher, doctors of different specialties, livestock specialist, economist, legal counsel, the postman and some others).
