Putin has allowed the FSO to withdraw land plots

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which the Federal security service (FSO) have the right to make decisions about withdrawal of land plots for state needs. Document published on web-portal of legal information.

The decree amends the provisions of the FSO of Russia, approved August 7, 2004. Commenting on the need for such changes, a source in the secret service in an interview with TASS said that “the government delegates some of its authority to other Federal agencies to simplify procedures for the use of land plots for state needs”.

To this end, the service was able to permanently use the land without the ability to withdraw their own. 5 August 2016, it became known that the Department has prepared a draft presidential decree, according to which it will get it right.

Earlier, the defence Ministry also received a similar permission.

Terms of seizure of land plots for state or municipal needs are regulated by the Land code of Russia.
