The ceremony of farewell with eks-the Deputy of the state Duma was held in the Vladimir Cathedral in Kiev.

KIEV, March 25. /TASS/. The former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov Zverinetska buried at the cemetery in Kiev. Farewell ceremony with the ex-MP was held in the Vladimir Cathedral of the capital. It was attended by several dozen people, including the widow Maria Maksakova, relatives of the deceased, a former state Duma Deputy Ilya Ponomarev, some Ukrainian politicians.

Denis Voronenkov was killed on 23 March in Kiev near the entrance of the hotel “Premier Palace”. A man repeatedly fired a gun at the former MP when he left the hotel, accompanied by guards. Then followed an exchange of fire between the attackers and the security guard Boronenkov, with the result that both men were injured and were hospitalized. The killer later died in hospital.

The executor of murder named citizen of Ukraine Pavel Parsow, 1988 year of birth, the native of Sevastopol. From August 2015 he served in the battalion “Donbass” of the National guard of Ukraine, but in 2016, was fired for failure to perform terms of the contract.

In fact the incident was opened criminal case under article “murder”. Engaged in investigation of the Kiev Prosecutor’s office in coordination with security and other security agencies. The adviser to the interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko reported that after the murder Boronenkov his widow Maria Maksakova was granted protection by the state.

Boronenkov in December 2014, was stripped of parliamentary immunity in connection with criminal case about the hostile takeover of one of the buildings in the center of Moscow. In October last year, Boronenkov emigrated to the Ukraine, and in February 2017 in Russia, he presented a formal accusation under article about fraud. Voronenkov has been declared internationally wanted.
