The murder of former state Duma Deputy, Denis Boronenkov can be beneficial for the Ukrainian secret service, said Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei chepa. His point of view he voiced in an interview with “Tape.ru” on Thursday, March 23.

“I think it would be beneficial to the security services of Ukraine, to blame us,” said the MP.

In his opinion, Boronenkov was uninteresting to them, because they were not “carrier of information, especially secret.” “For a long time to use the Ukrainian special services could not. All he said it was nonsense and bluff,” said Chepe.

Voronenkov was “a tough man” with a huge number of enemies, believes chepa. “He ran [Boronenkov] to Ukraine from a bad life, — said the Deputy. — Problems he would be here for sure. He had to go to surrender to law enforcement authorities”.

The MP stressed that Voronenkov took the path of treachery and betrayal. “Traitors usually always end this way happen,” he concluded.

Earlier Thursday, the Chairman of the Duma Committee on defence Yury Shvydkin in an interview with “Tape.ru” expressed the view that the murder of former Russian Deputy could be connected with his business or questions of inter-elite struggle in Ukraine.

Voronenkov was killed in Central Kiev in the afternoon of 23 March. Unknown opened fire when he, along with the guard came out of the hotel. According to available information, the assailant was wounded and arrested.
