In the state Duma has refused to discuss the increase of military age

The remark about the increase of military age to 30 years, it was made Thursday at a meeting of the state Duma Committee on defense, however, such proposals are not made and a bill with a similar change in not preparing, told RIA Novosti on Friday the first Deputy Chairman of Committee Alexander CP (LDPR).

Later in mass media there was information that allegedly, the state Duma is discussing the possibility of increasing the draft age to 30 years.
As explained by Sherin, at the meeting of the Committee, representatives of the Ministry of defence said that in 2016, from conscription into the army declined 170 thousand recruits.
“Told them the options, what are, if they really wanted to increase the percentage call in the Russian Federation”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
“I’m on the Committee said that no legislative initiatives from the liberal democratic party, which once tightened the requirements to the citizens, will not. I reported this to the Committee immediately said,” added Sherin.
